Here I am and all is well.  I've finally finished 13 grueling weeks of orientation at Children's Hospital Boston and I'm back to my irregular regular hours of Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 7PM until 7AM.  Jack is now 16 months old, a champion walker, and the possessor of curly blond locks, which just makes him look a little more like a pre-Raphaelite cherub (only more 3-dimensional).  Sydney got a bath last week, so she is less smelly and happy as ever.  Kevin is still indisputably my soul-mate and my dearest, which doesn't keep me from wanting to kill him at least once a week.

Sadly, I haven't done anything about changing the state of cord blood donations for Curt.  And my mom is continuing to decline.  Some things are just sad and terribly unjust.

The garden, from our long, wet, cold spring (I turned the heat off in the house on Memorial Day weekend) is huge and green and leafy and not really flowering.  One of the delphiniums has reached a height of 36 inches and it still, stubbornly, has no blooms.  It looks like a jungle out there.  Now, with 90 degree heat, I am hoping for flowers soon.  The foxglove have started and the hollyhocks have buds and the nasturtiums are winding and the peonies burst open today. One of the heirloom tomato plants that I bought has an embryonic tomato on a stem.

So, I will write about Jack, the Playgroup, Work, my current State of Mind, an update on the State of the Bod at 16 Months Post-partum and other things that enter my mind.  Right now, however, I have Garnier Nutrisse Brown Sugar hair color in my hair that needs to be rinsed out before I'm blonde (or, more likely, orange.)

I've thought about all of you and my little rants often and many thanks to those who have tuned in to find time stalled at March 28th.

We're back.
