Sorry . . .
About the lack of posting. I've been sick. So sick that I watched court TV shows all day today and found them rather diverting (at least they were better than focusing on how crappy I felt).
But I did have an interesting fever dream night before last. It seems that I was hosting a party at my house for all of the Democratic convention bloggers. Jonah Goldberg showed up with a date -- his mother. I caught her stealing stuff, and asked her to leave. She left, but was really snooty about it. Then she used the sheets she had taken from my linen closts and a bale of straw she purloined from my neighbors to built an effigy of Bill Clinton, which she lit on fire. So, I called the police and she and Jonah were taken away. She bit and kicked the cops, so they had to club her. The other bloggers were all nice, but they left my house trashed. I was glad when I woke up and realized that I really didn't have to clean up beer cans and pizza crusts from my living room.
