Who Will Be Leaving Wingnut Island?
The contest between the Korner Kids and the Townhallers is too close to call at this point, but I hope to be able to announce a winner later today.
Okay, the truth is that I want to see if our former drug dealer turned Dominionist preacher reverts to his usual wingnuttery in his new column before I announce the results of the voting.
Oh, and I'm also investigating the allegation that "Ben Shapiro has a bunch of dead homeless drifters in his basement -- neatly buried, of course -- and that that's why he went to law school: to defend himself from the murder charges. A call to the director of Harvard's Office of Perverted Coed Dorms asking about this has not been returned. (Hat tip to FlipYrWhig for this lead.)
Plus, I'm checking out reports that Rush Limbaugh robbed a pharmacy in my town.
Background: On Thursday I went to the pharmacy where my sister works, as we had made lunch plans. But when I got there, I found that the police had cordoned off the pharmacy and weren't letting anyone near it, so I had to go shopping instead. (BTW, did you know that the stores already have their Christmas stuff up, but none of the store employees wished me a "Merry Christmas." Somebody alert Bill O'Reilly.)
Anyway, I talked to my sister a few hours later, and she told me that a highly agitated, drugged-out guy came to the counter and handed her a note which said that if she didn't give him some OxyContin within 3 minutes, he would shoot her. He also yelled abusive comments at her while she fumblingly got him his drugs. Once he had his Blue Babies, he ran from the store, and my sister called the police. A few hours later, the police arrested a man whom they say is the robber -- but I figure he's just a fall guy, and Rush is the real perp.
