First of all, some links from this morning's reading:
Smart people live longer! and Rorty writes about Wittgenstein and Davidson: "We need not worry about the adequacy of our language to describe reality, for human languages are as they are, contain the words they do, because they have been shaped by interaction with the nonhuman universe."
Second, I read through the posts compiled under "What does it mean to have meaning" last night and realized what an incoherent mess I have created. I'll have to try to summarize, or organize it better, or something. Perhaps I can have something ready by tomorrow morning.
