Okay, so there's interesting things going on in Nashville, but I haven't been involved in many of them recently.  What everyone has been involved in, however, by necessity, is the unseasonably pleasant weather we've been having.  These are supposed to be the dog days, but it's been breezy, warm and, well, pleasant, instead of hot, humid, and suffocating, the way it should be in mid-August.

I haven't heard any explanations for this, but I went this a.m. (another cool morning, reminiscent of last October or November...) to Accuweather to see if they have any comments, and there on the front page is this radar image:

If you're quick, you can go see the animated version, which is even scarier.  Has God painted a giant target on our country?  Did something explode in Kansas a little while ago?  Have we been hit by an asteroid?  Am I making too much of this?
