Here's the speech that Bush gave the American Legion, here today.  His handlers seem to have fine-tuned his dodges (check the section on WMD's).  He was a hit with the Vets, and received several standing ovations.... hard to say how Kerry will do tomorrow.  McCain flew down here to stand on stage with him, and I hear a rumor that he may take Cheney's place on the ballot.  The penalty for failure to toe the party line on homosexuality, you think?

No terrible traffic problems (for me, at least) so far.

"We've seen a few protesters, but where we are, there's more police than protesters,'' said Whittaker.
