My garden is pretty much in place: hostas and bleeding hearts in the shade along the fence and bunches of herbs in the sunny bed toward the back.
But I couldn't resist getting this book over the weekend because I haven't given up on the idea of a cutting garden with coneflowers and zinnias and maybe even roses at some point in the future.
The Italain for today is organizzare all'avvenire. It means: to plan ahead.
