A picture named tomatosalad.jpg

Last fall, I thought about how great it would be to have home-grown heirloom tomatoes right there in my own back yard and so I entertained the idea of planting a vegetable garden. But then I came to my senses and decided to put in a little patch of herbs instead.

And it's a good thing, because there appears to be a gang of basil-eating bunnies in my neighborhood--I watered six plants last night, and this morning there were only three.

If they'd do that to the basil, I'd hate to see what they'd do to some nice, juicy tomatoes.
