A picture named hallelujah.jpg

Hallelujah!

At Team-in-Training this weekend I found out that the pedometer I've been using was miscalibrated. While I thought I was walking a mile, I had--in fact-- been walking about a mile and a quarter.

Which means, that instead of crawling along at a pace of more than 20 minutes a mile, I have actually been moving along at about 17 1/2 minutes a mile. (That's still under the 15-minutes-a-mile pace they want you to be at for the race, but I'm a lot closer than I had thought.)

Whew!

Training Update:
Today's miles: 3
This weekend's miles: 6
Total miles to date: 71

p.s. My fundrasing efforts have also been going along faster than I'd thought. I've now raised more than $2,500 toward my goal of $3,800 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Click here to check it out.
