A picture named grilledcheese.jpg

How about this for the next time you fire up the barbie?

Goat Cheese Wrapped in Grape Leaves

Soak several large grape leaves (the kind you get in a jar) for 5 minutes in warm water, then drain.

Sprinkle a large round of goat cheese with anise or fennel seeds and crushed red pepper.

Wrap a grape leaf around the bottom of the cheese and sprinkle with sambuca or ouzo.

Wrap another leaf or two around the top, using just enough leaves to form a single layer, then refrigerate for 1 hour. (Don't worry if the leaves don't hold fast--they'll stick once the cheese is grilled.)

Brush the cheese bundle with olive oil and grill over a medium-low fire, turning until the cheese is a little oozy and the leaves are slightly charred (about 4 minutes).

That ought to impress the neighbors!
