I've been asked to work on a committee to support Metro Theater's production of Beowulf.
I'm really excited.
We'll be putting on a fund-raising event (a very up-scale cocktail party and sneak preview of the show) to be held in late February. The event will take place in a funky-cool loft space that was once a shoe factory and there'll be great Scandinavian-type food including Glogg and a specially flavored Aquavit.
So, of course, I'm reading up.
