
Coffee House Treats
My friend Judy and I took this great little one-day baking class at the local community college (which apparently has a very good professional cooking school). It wasn't fancy--we made scones and biscotti and a layered bundt cake--but it was great fun and a big confidence booster.
So now we've also signed up for the "Professional Knife Techniques" class (in addition to the upcoming "Artisian Breadmaking" and "Five-Star Pie.") And we're looking hungrily at the "Vegetable Lover's Feast," "Professional Soup Secrets," and "Asian Noodle Fest."
Yum.
