"Mai due senza tre"
This saying, which translates "never two without three," is at "heart" of "Lost Hearts in Italy," my latest after-dinner treat. (It's about sexual infidelities...could you guess?) I'm only half-way through, but so far, I'm mesmerzied.
According to Philip Roth, "Andrea Lee is the real thing. There is nothing more to say."
If that's good enough for the never-at-a-loss-for-words Roth, it's good enough for me.
