PJ Divas
Last night was Pajama Night for the Dinner Divas and it was a hoot. We walk to each other's house on Diva night and since it's dark at dinnertime in January, we decided to come in our PJs.
I wore my green-and-white striped long johns with the bright red cuffs, a yellow down vest, wool socks and flip-flops and I must have looked quite a sight walking down the sidewalk with a bottle of wine tucked under my arm.
We ate chicken with almonds in a vinegar and sherry reduction sauce, spinach seasoned with nutmeg, a big fresh salad, no-knead bread and lots of red wine. We finished the evening off with a nice, light walnut and honey cake and strawberries.
Then we walked back home in our jammies.
It was great.
