never hurts to ask

Just on the off-chance that there is a crazy billionaire somewhere out there reading this blog who is inclined to give away a million dollars to somebody, let me say this:

I would very much love to have a million dollars given to me.

If I was given a million dollars I would ramble around the globe seeing and doing interesting things and putting them on my blog.  And to give my blog more spice I would hire strippers to pose in my pictures and give them more sex appeal.

Better make it $10 million.

star booty

A picture named starbbooty.jpgThis is Star Booty, our local punk rock store on central avenue.  This is where both established and aspiring punks come to buy a Sex Pistols, or a Ramones t-shirt, and other things that go good with mohawks and combat boots.

It always looks like such a fun store that I go in there every couple of months intending to buy something.  I've always wanted to look and feel a little more hip and underground and this always seemed like a good place to start.

Everytime I go in there I flip through all the t-shirts on the rack.

Can't say I've ever listened to them, I'll think.  Or, I would look like a phoney wearing this.  I almost bought a Johnny Cash shirt, but then I thought, I'd be the last person to hop on this band wagon.  After ten or fifteen minutes I've talked myself out of every t-shirt in the store.

Then I look at some of the wacky bumper stickers and buttons and posters.  Who am I kidding, I think, I'm suddenly, at 33 going to start being a guy that sports outrageous stickers or buttons?

But I feel bad not buying anything after being in the store so long.  So I'll go and buy an couple sticks of incense for about thirty cents.
