joey brooklyn's No day with the Vitale Brothers would be complete without having pizza for lunch. Today we went to Joey Brooklyn's on 1st ave. south. It was so windy and cold that the door kept blowing open. 6:05:31 PM    comment []

plain cheese The Vitale's only like plain cheese pizza.  I don't know, its some sort of Italian thing.  I sat with my back to the window.  Evey couple of minutes John would take a look at something behind me.  When I turned around I would just miss a nice looking woman walking down the sidewalk. 6:04:05 PM    comment []

Here's a painting that BASK did for the baseball exhibit.  BASK always has some cleverly themed gimmick to unify the piece. There's a bit of controversy about who came up with the idea for the this one.  John says he thought of it and then blabbed about it to everyone.  Then he called BASK in Detroit and offered to let him use the idea if he wanted to. "We must have identical brainwaves," BASK said.  "I'm already working on that exact concept." 5:58:59 PM    comment []

working with the Sand Diego Chicken I worked with the Vitale Brothers today to make some extra money. (We didn't sell a single tree job yesterday, and then my durango crapped out on me and required a $340 repair). So I called up John Vitale to see if he needed an extra hand with his art business.  He said I could help them finish their baseball exhibit at the Florida International museum.  I helped put the finishing touches on this mural that looks like an old-timey baseball park. The Sand Diego chicken watched me the whole time I was at work. 5:20:22 PM    comment []
