 Many of us know the story of David and Goliath from going to Sunday school, where the little boy David knocks down a mighty giant with his slingshot, and gives us hope that small people can overcome mighty obstacles in life. Like most things in the Bible, this story has nothing to do with reality and causes people to have foolish, if not insane expectations about what they can accomplish.
Such was the MJ project. My banner and blog was ignored like a fly on a giant Elephant's butt. In fact, I probably could have got more publicity if I had just called up the request line and screamed "duh!" and hung up the phone. But what fun is that? (Actually, it might be pretty fun).

Here's an exchange of e-mails between me and some clearchannel people about the mj show cancellation:
To All Clearchannel Employees,
Because of our inability to renegotiate a contract with the MJ Morning
Show, Clearchannel Inc. will cease broadcasting the program effective
February 13th.
We are actively seeking a replacement for this timeslot.
In the meantime, we would appreciate your discretion and professionalism
concerning this matter.

This is just a guy looking to get his web site out. The banner links to his web page where he is looking to have people call into the MJ show.
No need to cause fuss ..... Just trash the e mail and move on!
