Okay, this is just wrong. Three tours in Iraq?! What?!!

Where is the outrage?

How many have gone to war? Over 1,000,000 and counting...

Operation Truth, an organization dedicated to telling the truth about Iraq and Afghanistan from the soldiers' perspectives has a blog, so naturally there are excellent comments occasionally. This one is in response to a post about Mark Benjamin's Salon article on the over one million troops who have served in the "war on terror," and how the army may be broken by overstretched deployments:

Christianson said Army battle losses include 51 helicopters, 97 tracked combat vehicles, 76 heavy wheeled vehicles, 217 light wheeled vehicles and 62 medium wheeled vehicles. The losses include 12 percent of the entire Army wheeled vehicle fleet.

i suggest we draft all stateside H2 hummers and their owners to go fight for their country.

you never know...we could expand it to all SUVs and their owners and maybe even end stop loss and lower the gas prices.

im a friggin genius!! ha ha
