I feel pretty, oh so pretty…   I recently read an interview with Peaches (she’s got style, she’s got flair, she’s got hair!), where she talks about how men should dress more provocatively, care more about their appearance and, in general, be more metrosexual. I tried that. Not one woman came up to me to tell me how good I looked. Not one girl said ‘gosh, you have a great ass’. ‘Take me to the heaven of your bed’ was something that they never said. I did, however, get lots of attention from gay men. In fact, I even got harassed by one. So, Peaches, if you’re reading this – I won’t be taking your advice. The disappointing fulfilment of expectations Recently I bought a bottle of Vanilla Coke. It tasted like Coca Cola, with an aftertaste of vanilla. In fact, it tasted so exactly like Coca Cola with vanilla it was actually disappointing. Producers have now become so competent, they can deliver exactly what they promise and with constant quality. It’s so good it sucks. There’s no surprise in it. And it’s all been done before. They’ve made this Coke because some people were already putting vanilla in Coke. In the same way that people were putting lemon in Coke and then they made Coke Lemon. There’s no inspiration. It’s just not daring. Not exciting. Let’s face it; life is boring. Fortunately I am not. To keep this blog as fresh and surprising as possible, I have decided to post as infrequently as possible. Daihatsu Graceland – the not very boring blog. See you around.
