New and Improved!

Dear Dr. S. S. White,
I recently purchased your Improved Dental Engine by mail order. I purchased the original Dental Engine several years ago, but was never completely satisfied with it. As dental engines go it was adequate, but not of the high standard of workmanship that I have become accustomed. The framework of the original Dental Engine was somewhat flimsy and the daily maintenance so extensive that I would usually end up doing my dental work with a thin wooden “toothpick” and a short flexible brush that fits easily into the mouth. I was quite excited to read that you improved the design of your new dental engine and I ordered one without hesitation. Unfortunately, when my Improved Dental Engine arrived, the instruction manual was missing the first two pages. I am having a heck of a time putting this machine together. Without Figures 1 – 4, I’m afraid I cannot make sense of the design. I would be most appreciative if you could send me a complete copy of the instruction manual at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely yours,
S. Herbert Stevens
P. S. America appreciates your hard work in the development of dental tools. It’s what separates us from the English!
