Lunch transcribed

Next!

Hey, Ron.

Oh, hi, Jack. What can I get for you?

I dunno. I’m having trouble with decisions today.

Do you want to look over the menu?
No, not particularly.

You do want to eat, though?

Sure. I’m hungry.

You want me to decide for you?

That would be nice.

Okay, how about the special?

Fine. Sounds good.

Don’t you want to know what it is?

How long have I been coming here, Ron? If you think it’s special, I’ll eat it.

What kind of bread do you want with it?

What works best?
Mmm, probably the marble rye.

Great. Marble rye.

You want everything on that?

Everything you got.

How about a side salad?

Do you think I should have a side salad?

It would compliment the special.

Okay then.

You have a choice of…oh never mind, I’ll pick one.

Will this be to eat in or carry out? Surely, you can decide on that?

What works best with the special?

Probably eat in, but there are no tables available, so let’s make it take out.

Works for me.

I’m thinking ice tea to drink.

I won’t argue.

With lemon.

If it’s not too much bother.

Anything else I can get for you today, Jack?
No, not unless you can come up with an idea for my blog.

You still writing that?

Yeah, but I’m kind of blocked at the moment.

Hence, the decision problem.

I hadn’t made the connection, but you’re right.

Well, you could write a story about this.

About what?

This. Ordering lunch. You just ordered lunch without actually ordering anything. That’s kind of interesting.

You think?

Sure. Why not?

Okay, I’ll give it a shot.

Take care, Jack. Let me know how you liked the special.

I’m sure it will be great, Ron. I’m enjoying it already.
