Demolition derby update
I was all set to plug Matt’s demolition derby this coming Saturday only to discover that he won’t be in it. Apparently, the guy who owns the car Matt was to drive caught his garage on fire the other day while welding. The Fleetwood was not charred in the fire, but several other cars were. Unfortunately the Fleetwood isn’t quite ready to compete and Matt’s friend now has other priorities than fixing up clunkers to be destroyed in a demolition derby. So, the race will go on, but without Matt. He promises to compete in an upcoming event later this summer.
Random thought: Fleetwood Matt would make a great name for the car & driver team!
