More fourth grade theory

My son, Conor, and his friend, Freddie, are finishing a snack of Pringles chips.

Freddie: Are you finished?

Conor: Almost.

Freddie: Can I have one of your chips?

Conor: What happened to yours?

Freddie: I ate all of mine. Can I have just one of yours?
Conor: No.

Freddie: Come on.

Conor: No.

Freddie: How about just an atom of your chips?

Conor: I can’t give you an atom of chips.

Freddie: Why not?

Conor: There’s no such thing. The smallest unit of measure for a chip is the crumb.
