Here’s something else I don’t understand
Why is it that a man lying awake on a couch staring at the ceiling in the wee hours of morning is simply enduring a bout of insomnia, whereas a man sitting upright in a chair at the same hour drinking bourbon from a jam jar, blowing smoke rings and staring out into the darkness while he patiently waits for space aliens to finish probing his mind is somehow a social deviant?
