Senor or Senorita?

We went to dinner tonight at our favorite Mexican resturant. There was an elderly couple sitting across from us.The lady was putting away the two for one margaritas like there was no tomorrow. She got up to go to the bathroom, and I noticed she was walking with a walker. This concerned me after the drinks she had consumed. After about fifteen minutes she still had not returned to the table.I decided I would go in and make sure the drunk granny wasn't sprawled across the tile.

I pushed open the swinging door, expecting the worst. What caught me totally off guard was the MAN standing at the sink washing his hands.I looked at the door again to make sure I had entered the "senoritas" room.Yep.

He just looked at me,and calmly said.."Is this the ladies room?"

I wanted to say..."Hell no,I get my kicks out of going in the mens room at resturants".All I managed to do was stare.

He completely threw me off whe he said.."I didn't know which one I was,it was in Spanish".

I just started laughing.I mean, here is a man that is roughly 45 years old,and he doesn't know the difference in Senor and Senorita?

What tortilla shell has he been hiding under?

These Boots Were Made For Walking

Seth has some adorable little red cowboy boots, and he is wearing them everywhere these days.It doesn't matter to him if they match his gray sweats or not.He insist on wearing them. But I really don't mind. Those little boots remind me of all of my children, and when they were about Seth's age.

See,these boots have been around. They were Hannah's first. She loved them as much as Seth does. She wore them spring, summer, fall and winter. Then they became Mallory's.She prefered them with her dresses. Now they are Seth's.

They are starting to show the wear of three children, but Seth won't be getting new ones.I love these little boots with all of their scuff marks and will be sad when Seth can no longer wear them.I don't keep alot of things but I just can't seem to part with these boots.

What's one thing you can't seem to let go of?
