Families Matter

Hollie Atkinson is a retired pastor involved in the marriage enrichment movement. He and his wife Janell have been married 46 years and are the parents of three adult children and grandparents to five granddaughters.

The Atkinsons are past president couple of the Texas Council of The Association for Couples in Marriage Enrichment (ACME). They are certified to do marriage enrichment events by ACME.

Hollie received his D.Min. in Marriage and Family in 1987 from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He has written a weekly column called Families Matter for The Marshall News Messenger since 1991. His column is occasionally picked up by weekly newspapers.
