In the midst of a hot exchange of comments, prompted by my last entry, I've left poor Morgan hanging. I do plan to respond to his latest remarks, possibly this evening sometime, if energy holds out.
In the meantime, I am trying to run down a particular kind of recipe for tonight's dinner, and having little success on Google. On Friday, I had an outstanding meal of chicken shish kebab at one of those Persian "fast food" places in Emeryville. This chicken was bright orange-red in color. I'm told this distinctive color results from saffron, turmeric, or both. I would love to find out how to make it, if anyone has any leads. |
