My summer vacation...

Well, it is official: I am going to Cambridge, England this year.  It's cool saying: "I am teaching at Cambridge University this summer", although I will be working as a representative of my test prep company rather than for the University--nothing fancier than SAT workshops, folks.

Although I had dreamt of Harry Potter-like buildings with ivy-covered walls, I will be staying at one of the newer colleges at Cambridge, New Hall College.  Above is the main building--the Dome--which houses the dining hall and art collection. 

So, dears, we will turn away from New York for the next few weeks as I take you into an obssesive collection of facts about a university I wished I'd gone to...
