Interesting new Climate Science blog

The Roger A. Pielke Sr. Research Group have launched a new blog called Climate Science.  Their inaugural blog post "What is Climate? Why Does it Matter How We Define Climate?" sets out a definition of climate. I like the fact that they are quite fearless in embracing complexity and its refreshing to see this level of debate about climate change.

They're just getting going but already this month have 6 posts under their belt and the quality of articles and the comments they've elicited are very promising. I'll definitely be adding them to my blogroll and watching how their perspective unfolds.

You can get a sense of where they're coming from these previously published full text pdf's:

Nonlinearities, feedbacks and critical thresholds within the Earth's climate system.

A Broader Perspective on Climate Change is Needed pages 16-19
