THE PARTY OF MAGGY THATCHER TALKS TO FAGS
so says the Guardian, one of my new favorite publications. while the torrys have a lot to prove on the gay issue i am excited that the conservatives on the other side of the atlantic are willing to be more inclusive than their American counterparts. bush has moved the republicans solidly in the pocket of the religious right with his announcement that he will back a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage. even the log cabin republicans are running ads on the issue using dick cheny's own words. God bless them. it is time for conservatives that don't want to discriminate against any person to come out of the closet (so to speak) to not allow the worst parts of the party to speak for everyone.
