ARIANA HUFFINGTON READS QUEER ECOLOGY

...or so I imagine.  One of my recent rants on televison ads for the "Girls Gone Wild" series suggested new forms of these videos designed for the heterosexual male fantasies such as Girls Gone Mild and Girls Gone Child.  (By the way...friends have suggested even more..Girls Gone Hieled about girls who become Nazis or Girls Gone Filed...models who become secretaries).   Ariana borrowed from my little blog to suggest a new girls gone series, "Girls Gone Riled."

I have always loved Ms. Huffington and value her comments on American politics.  In this recent article she argues that single women could be an untapped resource in the upcomming election since they are generally progressive but do not always vote in high numbers.  She admits that the "single women" voting block is a bit more difficult to define then other voting blocks since they range from the spicy Paris Hilton to even spicer Bea Arthur (both of whom I adore).  I'm not sure how this voting block could be targeted by either candidate and Huffington doesn't seem to offer many suggestions.  The abortion issue is played out.  Single women come from many different backgrounds.  While her analysis is interesting it is meaningless to any political strategist.

Ariana, I love you and would have voted for you in the California election.  However, you managed to hand the election to Arnold after he creamed you in the debates and your new books and articles offer advice to the Democrats that they simply should not follow.  Keep writing those articles about why Bush is a horrible President but please don't insist that anyone follow your political strategies.
