Resorting to Evil
Attorney General John Ashcroft responded yesterday to David Kay's revelations about WMD's in Iraq:
Even if weapons of mass destruction are never found in Iraq, the U.S.-led war was justified because it eliminated the threat that Saddam Hussein might again resort to "evil chemistry and evil biology," Attorney General John Ashcroft said Monday.
Ashcroft appealed to recent but underreported discoveries by the Iraq Survey Group:
- The Baathists taught evolution in schools.
- Iraq was a principal behind the scenes advocate of UN family planning programs.
- Saddam's top scientists believed that the world is actually billions of years old.
