Iraq's Secretary of Labor, Elaine Chao
Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao recently returned from Iraq where she was busy promoting women's rights.
She was happy to answer questions about Iraq (and only about Iraq) during yesterday's "Ask the White House" interactive forum.
Let it not be said, however, that she is not as focused as ever on job creation:
The rebuilding of Iraq is proceeding and it will create many job opportunities for Iraqis.
The U.S. Department of Labor has provided $5 million to help rebuild the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and it has already registered 300,000 Iraqis who are looking for work and found employment for 25,000 Iraqis.
Wow, 25,000 jobs. That's quite an achievement. Hell, that beats our numbers.
It's too bad she doesn't work for us. Bush should hire her.
