Nader Spam
I received the following rotten spam in my e-mail box today:
Dear Nader in 2004 Supporters in Baltimore, Maryland
The venue originally selected for your next Nader in 2004
Meetup, Grillewater, is unable to accommodate the Nader in 2004
Meetup.
Please attend your next Nader in 2004 Meetup at the following
venue:
Cafe Brio
904 S. Charles St.
Baltimore, MD 21230
The next Nader in 2004 Meetup is scheduled for Thursday, May
13th @ 7 pm.
Thank you for using Meetup.
Rest assured, I never signed up for their list. I did participate in the Clark meetups around the time he first entered the race. That's probably how they got my e-mail address.
Perhaps I should start an Anti-Nader-Meetup Meetup.

I later received the following e-mail apology:
Hello Baltimore area Meetup members,
This is Matt from Meetup. We've been notified by many of you
that we made a big mistake today, and we owe you all an
apology.
Recently, we sent a message intended to notify one Meetup group
in Baltimore, the Nader in 2004 group, of a venue change for
their upcoming Meetup. Unfortunately, that message reached
many of you in the Baltimore area who are not members of this
topic.
This was an honest mistake made by a newer member of the Meetup
team who is still learning the ropes. We truly regret this
error.
We understand some of you may be upset as a result of this
email, and rightfully so. We hope you will accept our sincere
apologies. We apologize to all of you who received this
message and are not registered for the Nader in 2004 Meetup
topic.
Thank you all for being Meetup members, and we appreciate your
patience and understanding here. We hope you continue to enjoy
Meetup in 2004 and beyond!
