Voting on the issues
A grade school teacher in a wealthy, conservative Minnesota county (Bush-Cheney country) decided to poll his 11-year-olds. Without identifying which candidate was which, he read his students the platforms taken from the websites of the two candidates and then had them tally which candidate they agreed with on each issue.
He then took a vote.
26 kids voted for Kerry. 4 voted for Bush.
Needless to say, when the parents heard about the results, they were mortified.
Perhaps it's time to bring Fox News into the classroom.
