Carrying water for the Bush campaign
If you imply that a presidential candidate is inconsisent in his views, as David Rosenbaum does to Kerry today in his fake "fact check" piece in the NY Times, the onus is on you to explain exactly where the inconsistency in his position is.
But I guess that's too much to ask of our scribes at the nation's premier newspaper. Instead, Rosenbaum offers a handful of Kerry quotes on Iraq, implies that he's inconsistent ("That is essentially
[Kerry's] position today. But look at what Mr. Kerry has said in the
meantime."), but doesn't bother to explain how. And the quotes takes up the first half of his "fact checking" piece.
