Battleground God

A picture named god_medal1.jpg WWDT is proud to announce that we have received The Philosophers' Magazine Medal of Honour for our thoroughly consistent views of God:

Congratulations!

You have been awarded the TPM medal of honour! This is our highest award for outstanding service on the intellectual battleground.

The fact that you progressed through this activity neither being hit nor biting a bullet suggests that your beliefs about God are internally consistent and very well thought out.

A direct hit would have occurred had you answered in a way that implied a logical contradiction. You would have bitten bullets had you responded in ways that required that you held views that most people would have found strange, incredible or unpalatable. However, you avoided both these fates - and in doing so qualify for our highest award. A fine achievement!

Are you curious about how your views of God stand up to critical scrutiny?

If so, take the test.

2004 CLC voter guide

The Citizen Leader Coalition has provided us with a very helpful election voter guide concerning "key moral issues and the war on Christianity" ...

Vote for change

I went to the "Vote For Change" concert in Detroit, MI, last night, which had Bright Eyes, REM, John Fogerty and Bruce Springsteen (and the Dixie Chicks arrived from another show in the area for the finale, "Peace, Love and Understanding" and "The People have the Power").

Michael Stipe was sure to remind the crowd of the 200K+ jobs lost in Michigan and the $4.6 billion Michiganders have invested in the Iraq venture. I drove through sections of Detroit that desperately needed that kind of investment.

In their own words

Tom Tomorrow reminds us of what administration officials were saying in the run up to the Iraq war.
