Battlefield Talking Points The Raleigh Observer reports that soldiers headed to Iraq are being equipped with plastic wallet cards listing talking points for interviews with journalists. For example: We are a values-based, people-focused team that strives to uphold the dignity and respect of all. Critics of the provision should keep in mind that, as Maj. Jason Johnston, Pentagon spokesman for the Marine Corps, noted, "The media is just another element of what we call the battlefield environment."
