World Ends
A spreading epidemic of same-sex marriages, in California, New York and Oregon, is having disastrous repercussions.

Cassandra Wonders We're Registered in the Kama Sutra
Heraclitus Had A Honeymoon
Cal Thomas asks: If same-sex marriage is allowed, what's to stop incestuous marriage or group marriage or marriage to a child?
He points out that marriage comes to us, not as a creation of man but solely and directly from God via the book of Genesis.
This leaves unexplained how all those Buddhists, Hindus, Druids, animists and ancient Greek pantheists ended up hitched, but moving on...
In the same column, Thomas points out that all morality comes from God and asks what motivates an atheist (who by Thomas's definition has no fixed moral compass) not to run over Lassie?
Obviously it's so he can marry her.

Cassandra Wonders The Slippery Slope
What's Really At Stake
One of the arguments offered by the opponents of same-sex marriage is that it will lead to demands for the right to group marriage or marriage to animals.
This forces us to ask:
Are there some very odd urges bubbling just below the surface among the Republican leadership that the rest of us can't even imagine?
