Just watch him listen to someone else speaking No one works as hard at trying to maintain at least the appearance of paying attention. Cassandra Assumes You Mean It Isn't All Clinton's Fault? What Condi Won't Say In Public The short version: Clinton's national security team put in place a a policy focused on countering terror in general and Al Qaeda in particular. When the Bush team came in, even before Ari Fleischer was putting out the false story of the trashed White House Berger, Holbrook and others from Clinton's NSC were briefing Condoleezza Rice on their belief that continuing, even heightening the campaign against Al Qaeda.
