There’s a couple of radio dramas currently online that feature religion: on KPFA we have Becket, or the Honor of God by Jean Anhouilh, while on the BBC World Service there’s Ipi Zombie by Brett Bailey, about belief in witches in South Africa.
Last week BBC Radio 3 put out The Gospel of Mary Magdalene by Tom Kelly, but this has now gone. It featured an embittered Apostle Peter making up for his denial of Jesus by hurling misogynistic abuse at Mary, who claims that Jesus had taught her, his beloved disciple, that there is no such thing as sin. This one either slipped under the radar of the new “anti-blasphemy” BBC-baiting crowd or they decided to leave it alone...
