topped 20 degrees celsius! there are few things i cherish more than the spring peepers in full swing. i had no idea what they were before i moved here. they are tiny frogs that sing in mass in early spring. along the rail trail by my house there is a swampy area where those little creatures fill the air with ringing bell-like sounds of very high frequency. walking into this massive chorus is like walking into a huge bubble of sound. their voices seem to bounce around against every molecule in the air.
