The Bradley Barn Project
Last week I submitted this proposal to a foundation that gives grants for public art projects. I am proposing to create a site-specific installation work in a nearby barn that is currently being renovated(pictured above). The work will consist of drawings made by collecting soot by holding paper above a candle flame. The project is intended to be part fund-raising, part spiritual, part educational and informative, and all aesthetic. Now all that is left for me, at this point, is to keep my fingers crossed.
