Well, we did it. We packed more than 200 boxes and stuffed my mother's garage and basement. I was dreaming when I thought I could continue uploading images of my previous dwelling and have occasional reflective moments. It was so stressful I think my hair turned more gray than ever. And this is only half of the story...we still have to close on our new house and move again in a month.
But in the meantime, I'm off to the south of France (Lacoste) where I stayed for 8 months as a student 20 years ago. This was planned way before any of this move and buying of a house came around, and it just so happened to be right in between the first and second move so I'm leaving all the mess behind. I will be no where near a computer for 3 weeks so my blog must wait yet a little longer. I will be keeping a journal the old fashioned way, so I'll be blogging away upon returning on July 1.
