Customers to date
So far, I have made a few hundred dollars in sales, which translates to around $150 profit, in two weeks time. It's not enough to live on, that's certain, but it's more than I thought I would earn at the start.
My best customers have been people I know - my sisters, my immediate neighbors, and a couple of moms from the elementary school. I don't know yet if these have been pity sales or if they will actually continue being my Avon customers.
The best selling item is lipstick, hands down. Everyone orders one or two. We have long lasting colors, lipsticks that soften your lips, lipsticks that shine and ones that don't. A lipstick for any human.
The second most popular item is that Cellu-Sculpt cream that I'm trying myself on my thights and under arm jigglies.
The third most popular item is the new Avon Clinical Facial Peel system. I tried one of the samples. There are two steps to the peel. You first wipe the Step 1 flat circular pad across all the areas of your face, minus the delicate eye area. You wait five minutes while the substance does it stuff. Boy, does it sting! Then, you apply Step 2, another pad from a separate container, as a neutralizer. Viola! You are facially peeled! My face felt softer and looked dewy and moist after the one treatment, so I may have to splurge on a kit for myself.
See, this is the problem: It's too much fun to buy this stuff for yourself, so if I want to make money, I am going to have to exhibit more self-control.
