Short Notes on What I Like and What Really Isn't So Hot
First, let's have the bad news. I don't care much for the Naturals Sweet Pea shower/bath gel. The consistency and packaging of this product is quite nice. It has a great lavender color and the hanging tube is convenient. But it smells....well....unnatural. Instead of sweet peas or even anything remotely outdoorsy and fresh-picked, it has a distinct odor of fake perfume chemicals. I won't recommend it and I am tossing this product out in tomorrow's trash pick-up. Yuck. Don't order this, folks, unless you like to smell like a vat of red dye number whatever.
Thankfully, the good news is terrifically good. I have a LOT of things I'm continuing to use and a couple I already can't live without:
First, the Clinical Facial Peel lives up to the hoopla. My skin has never been this clear and smooth. I've had friends ask me if I lost weight (ha! I wish!) because I look so much more youthful. It's easy to use, doesn't smell strange, and works. Two Painted Thumbs up.
Next, the Cellu-Sculpt creme. I haven't lost any inches or parts there-of from my daily rub down ritual with this stuff, but damn if my legs and butt aren't silky smooth and soft. I don't know what this does, but the cellulite appearance is greatly reduced. I'm hooked.
Since it's the weekend, and my house is always Kid Central, this is a quickie update. Tomorrow I'll talk more about the colors I like and tell you a few stories about strange, mean, and magic customers.
My new website for my beauty 'zine is Beauty Dish. I hope to have something there tomorrow, and hopefully the first issue by Wednesday.
If you'd like to email me, there is a link to the side of this blog, and please feel free. I'd love to hear others' stories about buying or selling Avon and would be pleased to answer any questions you may have.
