That was easy! Errrrr, no, it wasn't.

First the good news: I rang a doorbell and waited on the stoop until the door was answered, beauty bag in my hand, heart in my throat.

The door opened, and I stood face to face with one of the tallest women I have ever seen. She must have been six foot three - easily, and she stared straight down into the part in my hair and grunted "No Soliciting!" The door slammed shut.

One, two, three!

Ok. I have my tote bag full of samples and brochures, I have a nice blue shirt and corresponding Avon makeup (see cam for the shirt!) and the Rose Drop necklace from the Campaign 9 brochure (ditto!). I will not return home until I have spoken face to face with a new customer.

So there!

Wednesday Beauty Hotline

This is the first in a weekly series! If you have a beauty tip, please email me, and if it's great, I'll post it! Everyone whose tips are chosen gets a copy of my 'zine mailed to them plus some Avon samples and a brochure! Can't beat that!

Want clean/clear skin? Put half a cup of oatmeal (or more) in a bowl with some water to get it moist and about 2 spoons of real bee's honey and mix together. Put it on your face for about 10 minutes and wash it off with water. It gives you such clean and a beautiful complexion!

For perfect foundation: If you have problems blending your foundation, add a small amount of moisturizer to it first and then apply to your face. You'll get a much more natural effect!

For sexy nude lips: Choose a slightly creamy lipstick that resembles the color of the skin on your face, rather than your lips, and apply it straight out of the tube.

For smoky eyes: Line eyes with a black or brown pencil as close as possible to lash lines. Then, using a soft, angled makeup brush, apply a deep brown or gray shadow from your lash lines up to your brow bones before sweeping on black mascara. To tone this look down for day, use a lighter plum or blue-gray shadow and don't blend higher than your creases.

And if you're looking for something a little more...ancient....check out the Mayan Beauty Tips and learn how to shape your baby's head or decorate your teeth!

Goal for Today:

Ring at least one doorbell and wait for someone to come to the door.

I can do this!
