Reader Carroll suggested (tongue in cheek) that I should record my blog entries while on the road. I'm going to do that! I have a little tape recorder and will record my Avon adventures on the road. I'm going to see if I can upload the audio file to the blog when I return. 17 is great with computers, so I'll ask him how to do this.
I wish I had time to write down three more customer 'events' that occurred yesterday. I'll have to get to it Friday, after I return from the great north. I'm leaving tomorrow in the wee hours and driving all day. I'm going to get to meet one of my blog readers while I'm away, too! I can't wait!
I spent the morning calling my regular customers and suggesting that they order themselves a nice beauty treat and now I must clean my daughter's bedroom so that all evidence of my Temporary Avon Storage Facility is eradicated. She'll pitch a hissy fit if she knows I covered her floor with boxes and brochures and spread tubes and jars of product all over her bed. I hope I can get the smell of that broken bottle of Pink Suede out of the carpet. I tried to convince her to sell Avon with me this summer, but she accepted a night job at the ethnic imports store, stocking shelves and sweeping floors.
