Today is the first official 'working' day with kids home from school. I'm having my doubts. My order was due online by noon, and I got it done by the hair of my teeth between breaking up fights over who gets to try the talking pedometer - a gift from the infamous Loyal Reader - and driving my daugher from the blood donation bank to the ethnic imports store, then picking up my oldest son from the community college where he's taking summer calculus. If my mind was working properly this morning I would have dropped off the new Campaign 13 brochures at the school and blood bank.
I'm getting ready to present the amazing summer work opportunity to my kids, so wish me luck. My goal is to convince them to help in a cheerful manner in exchange for a monthly salary. I need them to help me label the new brochures and map out our territory for the next two weeks. I have more stories than I have time to type. Can I borrow an extra set of hands from anyone? Please??
