Quick notes from the Avon trenches...
The contest is in full swing! I'm already regretting it!
I printed up a flier on tie-dye paper with the title "Insane Avon Lady Sale" and it contains all of the freebies, discounts, and gifts the customer will receive if they follow the rules as suggested by you folks. I am placing a flier in every brochure.
I ordered 250 brochures for the contest and have stuffed each and every one with a flier and a sample and slapped a label (see numerous suggestions in the prior post) on the cover of each, asking for helpers and promoting the sales. This venture took four hours to complete, and I ended up with two nasty paper cuts and a bruised shin when the dog snaked between my legs as I was bending over to open a box of brochures.
I'm taking a short break, then I'm off with the boys to drop brochures in the fancy beach hotel lobbies and ladies rooms, both index fingers wrapped in Star Wars bandaids, kilt stuffed with mini lipsticks and anti-wrinkle samples, and the promise of an ice cream cone to keep the boys in line.
